There are certainly a lot of different pet ID tags for your pups, but how many dog tags let Rex carry around his MP3s? The Top Tag™ pet ID tag is a tiny USB stick that when plugged into a computer instantly launches Rex’s complete profile including his name and home address, diet and medical needs, and it doesn’t stop there! This dog tag even stores what words and commands Rex understands, a photo album, and a function to print the data for records. And because the Pet ID tag has 64 MB, Rex can carry with his favorite tunes, word docs, any anything else he finds essential.

Top Tag™, $39.99.
This little gadget may be digital, but it’s as rugged as your dog is. It comes enclosed in a clear rubbery plastic mold that snaps together to keep out dust, water, drool and hair. Bear our Newfoundland can be one dirty dog, and is always in the mud or water when outdoors and this little thing comes back clean and dry every time.
We happened to wrangle a couple out of the company to give away, so if you’re interested, let us know in the comments and we’ll pull from the hat. As usual, we want to hear what you think so keep us posted!
* Don’t post your addresses online. We’ll contact two random dogs (people) in two weeks for their home address.

hey guys, be careful a microchip cant be removed, this can, if someone stole your dog, it is easy to remove this disk permanently.
i would be very interested in this thingie, if you can post their website?
i might have missed it?
thanx!
what if something happened to me, and with our five newfs, hubby would not know the first thing about the feeding and pills etc…..
:) i think it is great for the second caretaker to be to have on hand.
i dont allow mine to wear collars but, i would keep it in my drawer for jason to read it should he need to.

Whoa, baby, count me in!
My rescue dog is tatooed (but it’s now illegible).
She’s microchipped (but the registry company went out of business, and the new registries that took over the existing database don’t recognize my dog’s microchip because it’s too old).
She does wear various tags: rabies (with the telephone number of our veterinary clinic); license (which could be used to track me down), and a personalized tag with our telephone numbers on it.
Still, I wanted more assurance she could get back to us if some extraordinary circumstance separated us…especially while travelling, as we do quite often.
So I bought one of those travel tubes. I filled out the form inside and attached it to the ring with the rest of her tags.
First time out, the bottom of the tube managed to come loose and fall off somewhere, during a trip to an off-leash park.
I went back to the store where I purchased the I.D. tube, and was told I’d really need to screw it down tight, with a screw driver.
I bought another one, and did just that.
No luck.
First time out, the bottom had come loose and fallen off.
What the #%@&?!
So, please… I need something like this! Something that will stay on, but will allow me to load it up with personal information and anything else that’ll help get my dog back to me in an emergency.
Cheers!!
Marjorie

OOOOOOOOOO! wow i would love one of those formy chihuahuas! so often the little guys get out during potty time (luckly we find them heading toward our nearby park), and i know that when people find purebreads, they keep em and sell em (so wrong, so sad). it would be nice to have one of those for my babies. i know i should just fork up the 500 bucks or so and just get an “invisible fence”, but its just so dang hard as newly weds. Please enter me into your drawing

Both my girls are rescues. Their lives were hard enough before finding their home here. They are chipped and tagged but this device would be another, more advanced, layer of protection should either get out or loose from their leash.

I have seen loads of useful elements on your website about personal computers. However, I have got the opinion that notebook computers are still not quite powerful sufficiently to be a good selection if you often do jobs that require a great deal of power, like video touch-ups. But for world wide web surfing, microsoft word processing, and quite a few other popular computer work they are all right, provided you may not mind small screen size. Many thanks for sharing your thinking.
