July 29th, 2007 at 9:58 pmI had Patches and Spot. They were champion cuddlers. They grew up together and lived to be 18 and 13. They not only cuddled, they play wrestled, protected each other (had a vet bill to prove it) and did not know that they were not of the same species. They were the Best of best friends, brothers and the ying and yang. It was horrible when Spot died.

Our giant bulldog gets that pity-me look just before he tries to sit in someone’s lap. But with that ever-so-humbled posture that you see in the picture, it can take quite a while to get where you’re going!

April 21st, 2009 at 3:19 amYes, I was wondering why these animals looked so cold, and the puppy looked so sad. That is not the look of a happy, well-taken-care-of animal. I cannot tell what cats are thinking, but dogs emotions are usually very visible, and this puppy does not look well.

May 15th, 2009 at 3:28 pmI’ve seen this on a couple of web sites. I believe the pup and kitty are in China and are abandoned pets. For anyone, anyone, to believe that this is a cute photo and not see the absolute heartbreak is beyond my thinking.
I wish I could just grab that pup and cat and bring them into my home…they already live in my heart.
