July 29th, 2007 at 9:58 pmI had Patches and Spot. They were champion cuddlers. They grew up together and lived to be 18 and 13. They not only cuddled, they play wrestled, protected each other (had a vet bill to prove it) and did not know that they were not of the same species. They were the Best of best friends, brothers and the ying and yang. It was horrible when Spot died.

March 7th, 2008 at 6:16 amIt almost looks as if the cat feels obligated to allow the pup to snuggle, even if it’s only because the dog looks so darn pitiful - like a Garfield and Odie moment!
Our giant bulldog gets that pity-me look just before he tries to sit in someone’s lap. But with that ever-so-humbled posture that you see in the picture, it can take quite a while to get where you’re going!

April 18th, 2008 at 1:28 amI don’t think it is adorable at all. I think that it is truly sad. The pics actually come from a true situation in China where the authorities are killing stray dogs and puppies (to get rid of possible spread of rabies). The poor puppy is starved and frightened to death, and orphaned, and the cat is nearly in the same state, so they find each other. What is adorable about two terrified animals desperate for love and care?

May 6th, 2008 at 3:44 amI agree that the puppy looks thin and cold and am horrified to hear about the situation in China, but at least someone there cared enough to take these pictures. Maybe they cared enough to adopt these two helpless creatures. I truly hope so!!
