Border Collie Works Winery Sheep

February 23rd, 2007

A short clip of a winery that cuts fuel costs by half by bringing in sheep to clear the grass and weeds. Of course with sheep running around in the field the only way to round up is to summons Gracie the Border Collie. Watch her go to work!

Pup-ography - Puppy Art

A Rotty puppy nose shot

Fun times with puppys are captured at The DOG, a collection of “Pup-ography” that can be downloaded, emailed, and just plain looked at. These close up “nose” shots have a style that really serve as eye candy for us dog lovers. Take a look at the two images below of the Rottweiller and Dalmation.

From Pup-ography.
“In spring of 2000, cute and little funny looking pals made their debut in
a series of handy picture booklets, classifying into each breed as “THE DOG”.
Their lovely and unique portraits such as the highly expressIVE close-range images A Dalmation puppy nose shot
(using a wide-angle photographical lens), round eyes, and protruding muzzle hit the streets
and began to attract people. This is how “THE DOG” started.”

Be sure to visit to their Pup-ography section!.

Bed Sharing Rules

January 10th, 2007

A very funny instructional site on how to accomplish a good nights rest, with the company of two dogs in your bed.

Excerpt: “Because the human being is always in the middle, held tightly in place by the dogs and by his blanket (which the dogs are sleeping on top of), restlessness and recurring cramps are difficult to handle. Here is the tip: When you first lie down, AND BEFORE THE DOGS SETTLE AGAINST EACH SIDE OF YOU, spread your legs three inches apart. Stiffen and hold out NO MATTER HOW GREAT THE PRESSURE! When the time comes to turn over, bring the legs together quickly under the now slightly slackened blanket and revolve BEFORE THE DOGS WAKE UP. As soon as you have assumed a new position, allow for those crucial three inches again; otherwise, you’re a mummy for the rest of the night.”
