Our Newfy is always getting dirty, particularly when it rains. So we were doing some research and found they actually have umbrellas specifically made for dogs. It’s actually pretty clever as it is attached to the leash. I’m not certain how practical it is however as it appears as though one would have to litterally hold the leash over the dogs head for maximum effect. This is essentially no different then holding a real umbrella, but I guess this frees up one hand. So on the topic, we’ve ran into some other silly inventions as you’ll see below:

My name is Daniel Markell and I am the Casting Producer for the hit show Wife Swap. Perhaps you have seen it. We are currently looking for amazing families with huge personalities that is passionate about competitive dog dancing!

Incase you are unfamiliar with the show, the premise of Wife Swap is that one parent from each household swaps places for seven days to experience how another family runs their lives. It is an incredible family experience and opportunity to both learn and teach different family values. The show is a fascinating story of what happens when two married couples see themselves and their spouses in a whole new light. The New York Post says, “It should be called ‘Life Swap’ because it’s not just the wives who learn something here. It’s the families.” The only requirement for applying is that you are married (or living together) With at least one child over the age of 6 and under 18 living at home!

Also, not that money is an incentive but the family that is selected receives $20,000 and there is a $1,000 finders fee if you refer us an amazing family that makes the show. This is a Nationwide Casting and any additional exposure you can bring would be greatly appreciated!

SKYBARk is coming this Saturday, Nov 11th. This is the hip venue that dogs hop for. All night partying on a Downtown rooftop location featuring local artists, DJ’s spinning the latest music, catered food and drink, and of course the company of your own dog. Tickets are $30 per person, oh yes, and $15 for your dog. These wild parties are fast becoming a hit across the nation hitting many of the major metropolitan cities, LA, New York, Boston while attracting equally major celebrities, Elizabeth Taylor, Tori Spelling, Drew Barrymore. Celebrity dogs also take notice - Shaggy Dog will be there this weekend.

SKYBARk also exhibits doggy fashion, doggy bar, doggy bakery, gift bags, and more and it all supports notable charity for dogs - this one being for the Forte Animal Rescue.
