Information on Doggy Poop Services
If you ask any pet parent what they least like about having a pet, I am sure that many people would say picking up after them (literally). I know that picking up after my big guy can get tiresome, especially when his tummy is not feeling so great. It was in the “who else can do it for me” spirit that I started looking into services who specialize in doggy-doo removal to compare rates. I can’t believe the amount of money that doing this minimal chore can cost for those who are looking for someone else to do it. Then again, if you have the means available, why not right?
Some companies are really “cleaning up” out there. Here are some of the going rates in case you want to use a service like this, here are some sample rates for once a week pick-ups for one dog.
- California: An average of $55
- Florida: An average of $14
- Illinois: An average of $40
- Missouri: An average of $50
Some things to keep in mind when you are doing this though, check to see the times the company is available. Are you allowed to prepay services or is on a weekly basis? Do they charge extra to come into your yard if it is locked? Some additional services offered by some of the more expensive companies were fecal testing and a discount for multiple dogs and multiple pick up times.
