For those who have exceptional purebred dogs, the American Kennel Club has a ceremony each year which honors 5 dogs who have contributed greatly to the world in which we live. These awards, known as the ACE (Awards for Canine Excellence) Awards, are presented each year during the Eukanuba National Championship Dog Show.

There are five different categories in which a dog can be nominated and this year was the year old the big dogs.
- Law Enforcement: Faith, a Rottweiler
- Search and Rescue: Gibson, a Bloodhound
- Therapy: Noodle, a Standard Poodle
- Service: Reno, a German Shepherd Dog
- Exemplary Companion Dog: Raiah, a Canaan Dog
Besides adding love and compassion to the world, enhancing the life one lives and regularly going beyond the call of the duty, the winning dogs get much more than a simple thank you. “Each of the five honorees will receive a cash award of $1000 and an engraved sterling-silver collar medallion to be presented at the AKC/Eukanuba National Championship. Their names will be engraved on a plaque that hangs permanently in The American Kennel Club Library in New York City.”

I posted on the forum Friday that this website petloop.com/dogBlog is stealing our blog content. Because they stole our html, they collected the images linked to our server as well. After 2 unanswered emails requesting they remove our content, I decided to change the images. Update: They still havn’t removed our content and today I just remembered that I never defined the image height and width so we’re free to deface the site in a much bigger way.
They still havn’t changed anything after Friday’s story, which can be read here:

Scroll down to the bottom of their page to see the potential damage:

Instead of doing it myself, I thought I would see what anyone else might have for ideas! Let us know, or send something in even! There are many images opportunities!

Any toy that has something to do with a ball most dogs will approve of. These toys, well they’re fun for people too! This is a true blend of fun for both parties, Dad & Rex, at the park.
This post is for HyperDog®, and their Hyper Ball Launchers. This slingshot device launches tennis balls for dogs that love to fetch. 2 and 4 ball designs offer the same features: steel construction, surgical grade tubing and hands free pick up of those wet slob-n-slimed tennis balls. The company claims the slingshot will launch balls up to 220 feet!

A high-tech blend of modern engineering and old-fashioned sling shot fun, a HyperDog® ball launcher is guaranteed to make both the quadrupeds and bipeds at your local dog park drool.
The 4 ball unit runs $29.95 while the 2 ball unit is $24.99.
The next toy, by the same company is pretty cool too! The Doggie Driver! This is no putter but rather a solid driving club but for tennis balls. You can use it to practice your swing while you send your dog chasing the balls down the field! The best part is, you’ll have a never-ending supply of balls to whack, provided your dog doesn’t get tired.

This toy you’re going to want to keep your dog away from - this could definately hurt someone- especially if you’re going to try to hit 300 yards!
This tennis ball launcher will run you the same price $29.95.

Experts say you need to brush your dogs teeth at least once a day! That surprised me as my wife and I typically only brush teeth (Bears teeth) when we brush him out, maybe once or twice a week. When I read this I decided to do look for something to make it a bit easier - perhaps a better chew/treat similar to greenies that we no longer give him.

Well I found this triple pet tooth brush that has three brush heads all aimed to get every side of the teeth with one stroke - now that’s a gift to brushing dogs teeth as we all know, it’s not that easy, even if your dog doesn’t mind; it’s still something in his mouth and he wants to play with it.
This brush definately gets our vote!
