According to an article in Doggie News , pet sitting is one of the fastest growing industries in the United States. A trade organization known as Pet Sitters International reported that since 1994 the industry has grown from 300 members to nearly 8, 000.

It is clear with trends like these, that as the love for dogs grow, so does the desire to have them well taken care of even when you are unable to be with them. Those who pet sit have fees which encompass some of the following services: pet sitting, house sitting, dog walking, and over night retreats, as well as old fashioned pooper scooping.
