Welcome to the Big Paws Only FAQ - where all of your questions can be answered. This list is small because we are new but will grow as the site grows.
Big Paws is for Big Dogs!
Big Paws Only is a site for parents of giant or large breed dogs to come together to share stories and pictures, as well as to seek help and encouragement with others.
Giant Breeds Dogs
A giant breed dog is one that meets the AKC standard height of at least 28 inches and a weight of 110 pounds.
Large Breed Dogs
A large breed dog is one that meets the AKC standard height of at least 23 inches and a weight of 60 pounds.

When you post a new message or reply to a message, look for the "Additional Options..." link at the bottom below the text area box. Simply click on this link and it will expand the necessary fields. Just press the browse button, locate the photo on your personal hard drive, and click "post” to upload it.

To create an avatar, click your 'User Profile' on the right. Once that page is up, all of your profile settings are on the right. Click the 'Forum Profile Information' link. The first options are you avatar options - you can either upload one or link to one.

The last option you have is for your signature. Simply type whatever you want your signature to say then push the “change profile” button.
