My 2 girls are sooooo vocal!  Sasha yodels and dog-talks everytime she is playing, or wants out, or wants a treat...heck, she's talking all the time!  Dar is pretty selective about being vocal, but when she does, it blows me away!  She can say (with pretty clear enunciation, in fact) "apple", "momma" and can really say "I want out". If you ask her if she wants to go out to pee, or go for a car ride, she nods or shakes her head, too! Shocked  She keeps me laughing all the time!  I've seen dogs on Animal Planet (my favorite tv channel) that say their names, whole sentences, and all kinds of stuff.  What does your dog say? Huh

DOGS LAUGH, BUT THEY LAUGH WITH THEIR TAILS.

haha!  how cute!  that is great.  no, hugo is rarely vocal.  only when protecting does he bark.  you may hear a growl, but he is not a talker.

The only time Kiah is vocal is when she wants to go outside. First she'll scratch at the door and if we don't respond she'll mumble something under her breath.

My goodness, Kate is a CONSTANT talker - all the time.  Actually is one of the reasons we chose her out of the litter.  Even that young, she would talk, talk, talk away!  It is hilarious (and) VERY entertaining.. .

Even when she yawns, she is vocal with it!

Chester is talking to me right now as I write...'ohhhhhh, ohhhhhhh, ohhhhhhh'.  He's hungry and wants his dinner.  He puts his head on one side and moans 'ohhhhhh!  ohhhhh!'

Gotta go:  my dog's calling! Cheesy

Dazy talks all of the time.  She learned from our Mini.   Roll Eyes  It is pretty cute though.  She talks to Ladybug all of the time too.  Trying desperately to get her to play.  It's so funny.

Raven is fairly quiet, other than the characteristic piercing dobie whine that makes your ears bleed if you ignore them.
If Merlin was any quieter he would be a mute- he already has the selective hearing/deaf thing going on.
Strider talks enough for all three of them. He moans, groans, whoo-whoos, grumbles and growls and barks at butterflies in the wind. Living with him is much like life with my 11 year old daughter, if she's not asleep, the feet and mouth are always moving and you need an interpreter to figure it all out.

Oooh yeah -- I know that whine.  Kizmet does that, and he almost NEVER barks.  Just whines.  And grunts.  He sounds like a pig climbing the big steps in the back.  They have to backing, and his legs will slip through sometimes, and he grunts while catching his balance.  It is soooooo cute.

Keagan is so silent its scary sometimes.  I have only heard him bark or growl on a handful of occasions, and he doesn't do much talking.  He snores up a storm though lol.

Grain-free feeding, selectively vaxing, crate training mama to Keagan, Kiden, Kwellen, Elli, Dals.  And one non-shedding child, Sabine (who doesn't sleep in a crate).

HAHAHAHA!  This is too funny!  Koby does tend to talk more than he used to.  I think one day he just "found" his voice! lol  Now he's constantly talking and mumbling, especially when he yawns he makes some really funny noises.  Normally he just sounds like a cross between a bear and a wookie. Grin

Bear & wookie!!!!  LMAO!  So does Bella...  But she also talks, especially when she feels like I'm not loving her enough or something.  Foster only barks at dh, the wind, the cats, cars on the road - because they MIGHT pull in and he has to be ready for them...  Bella actually talks to me though.  She doesn't enunciate now.  I think it has something to do with the size of her "flews"

Buddy is a real talker  (I totally know what you mean by "wookie"!)  He also talks back!  If my husband is telling him to do something and buddy doesn't want to, he will bark a very sassy bark!!    Also, if we bother him, like make him move over on the bed so I'm not hanging off the side, he'll let out a big sigh.  He's so funny.  Jake doesn't talk much unless someone is walking by the front of the house, then he sounds really tough.
