 Cry
My puppy, just over 1 year old, is going in for TPO surgery tomorrow to fix hte hip dysplasia.  Because we got this diagnosed so late, we have to do woth sides at once.  I am wondering if anyone has gone through the recovery and aftercare with their dog and can share their experiences.  I am terrified of the process.  I want to make sure I take good care of my dog so he heals well, but I am still not sure what all is invovled!
Can any one help me by sharing their experiences??
Thanks!

I have not gone through TPO recovery, but to my understanding you will have to crate him to restrict his movement, so you will want comfy bedding and chew toys and treats to keep him happy and comfortable in his crate. Your vet should also be able to give you specific directions for his recovery.

Here is a link to a journal about one dog's TPO recovery: http://www.wunderland.com/WTS/Ginohn/cetera/TPO.html
