Does anyone know what a Landseer Newf/Saint mix looks like? Maybe point me in the directions of some pics?
I heard through a friend that an acquataince of hers may be looking to re-home their dog. But my friend has never met the dog nor knows what it looks like. I don't even know if it's male or female. LOL But I'm seriously thinking about it since I love both breeds.
I'm just curious as to what they would look like. ??? I'm picturing a black and white Saint bernard. LOL

Oh my! I don't know what one looks like but can only imagine how beautiful he/she would be! I know that when I was told about Barkley at the SPCA, he was described as a newf/st bernard mix to me. Turns out he was pure landseer but just wonder if maybe because he was so tall and drooled excessively, that's why people thought he was a mix? Please let us know!

I agree I think that would be a nice looking mix. I'm surprised all those designer dog breeders haven't done that mix yet and charged an arm an a leg for them.
Well we are not getting him (it's a him!.. lol) Apparently he's cat and small dog aggressive. :( Which sounds so out of character for a Newf or a Saint. ???
But we have 4 cats and a toy poodle.. plus Bubba. So I can't risk one of them getting harmed.. :'(
When we get another dog it's going to have to be a puppy.

Her momma was a black newf, and her daddy was a smooth coat saint.
