That is one awesome puppy. How do you teach them to stack anyway? I've never had a show quality dog but I have thought it might be fun to get one and try and do the show thing.

I practice with him everyday for like 15-20 mins. At first I used food in my hand to keep his attention and getting him use to his back legs placed where needed to and everytime there were I would tell him to stand. Then I moved to me using my hand to help him stand still, you know how wiggle puppies are LOL Now I tell him to stand and he can almost stack himslef, there are still times I need to help him. In August he will go to a puppy match and I cant wait ;D

That's so cool! I wish they would do the same type of thing for pet quality/mutts. That way people like me could get some experience with training for show and showing and get some fun quality time with our dogs.

Thats why I love showing...its the quality time I get to spend with Gauge...not all about the winning, even though winning would be nice LOL But this is Gauge's and mine special alone time together
