Ok we need to get this planned before summer ends! I'm thinking August 5th or 6th or maybe the next weekend for the meetngreet at our house in Preston CT. We will have ice cream for the puppers from UCONN Dairy Bar. Let me know if you guys can all make it and which day you'd prefer.

We can make it either weekend, saturdays would be better for us.. but either way we can make it work! just let us know!! :) we do definalty need to get together!!

I'm thinking it would be waaay too far for me and the four monsters, and the weekend of the 10th is tied up with our mastiff rescue group family picnic. I would love to see pics and hear all the wonderful stories when its over though.

It will be Sat the 5th then, barring any drastic changes. Eiren & Stacey should plan on just over 2 hrs, same for Rich and Shawna, +traffic. Anyone else we're between the two Casinos in CT. We can do a BBQ, we'll work from there.
The Funny Farm will be open for you all whenever you should get here.
The backyard may be fenced in by then too, depends on me getting the one chainlink section in though, not to worry though we sit about 500' off the road.

Maybe you guys could do desserts and salads? 11ish works for us. We have water and kiddie pools, tables and probably enough chairs. We can handle the hamburgers and hotdogs. And yes we have two horses that we'll make sure have been put away from the puppers when they're loose. Everyone who's interested let me know so we can PM you more specific directions.

Eiren, anything sounds good for dessert. What do the normal chocolate woopie pies look like/taste like from Fumble's bakery.
We will have vanilla "real ice cream" for the puppers if anyone has a preference for another flavor for themselves let Erin know, so she can grab some before she comes home.
Go for it if you want to make a fruit salad.
Shawna you don't eat red meat right? Would you like BBQ chicken or would something else appeal to you more.

To the girls what do you all like to eat we want to make sure we have stuff.
Hey Rich if you wanted to you could even bring the camper. You could either setup along our driveway or this campground is practically our neighbor, we can hear their annocements all summer.

I sure do wish the kids and I could make it! Sounds like it will be a wonderful day, all the way around! Please, somebody, take lots of pictures to share with those of us who can't be there. I *DO* want to be kept in the loop for when these things happen in the future, as it might be at a time when I could make it!

I have to work Sunday morning at 10am so I am planning just a day trip to Preston, I'll have the pup and save the gas cost for towing the camper!! Thanks for the offer if I had some free time I would definately take the camper!! Maybe I'll ride over and check the place out as a "Future" option especially since Wimslow's Girlfriend lives next door!!

Speaking of gas it is $3.45 and climbing for premium, don't know regular right now as I run diesel, so fill up back home. When we were up by Rich & Shawna we saved something like 9 or 10 cents a gallon on regular back the beginning of June.

i'm gonna make the pups a birthday cake... ala 3 dog bakery.... hopefully it comes out good for them! lol!

3 Dogs Bakery has wonderful doggy birthday cakes- a dear friend in Mo. sent one for Imani's 2nd birthday in April- the girls loved it!

i made a very fun birthday cake for the pups! it's banana pecan cake with carob and banana frosting with peanut butter wordS! fumble was all about it last night! so hopefully they like it! i got the recipe from a dog cake website that offered extra fun recipes for people to try at home! :)
