Yeah!!!  I'm so glad to see that his surgery came out fine!!  Fingers and paws are still crossed for a speedy recovery.

Is there a difference between Swiss and Berneese Mountian Dogs?

Actually, yes.  There are 4 types of Swiss Mountain Dogs.  The Greater Swiss Mountain Dog, which is what Ranger is, is considered the original Swiss Mountain Dog from which the other 3 were derived.  Swissys are the largest of the Swiss Mountain Dogs, in both height and weight.  Also, Swissys have short-hair while the Bernese have long hair.   :)

How is Tim doing now? I was trying to figure out if there was any new updates on the site, but couldnt find. I take it he is home and doing fine. Please post a pic or twenty and tell us all about how the little doll is doing.
