Just wanted to apologize in regards to the late post for the "Fun with Pictures"... but, we're getting a new addition to our family. Here's the story...
We didn't plan it at all. I've been on the look-out for a male OEM or Saint, but fate had something else planned for us on Fri/Sat. We went to my mother-in-laws (3 hours away)to put in a new floor, chop wood, etc. Well, Friday, the kids and I rounded up 7 feral kittens on her property and took them to the Humane Society... and of course, I had to take a look! A young lab mix w/ gigantic feet caught my attention. Sweet, sweet, sweet... but, I had to be brave and left... Saturday, we caught two more feral kittens and while my husband and his mother took care of the kittens at the HS, the kids and I checked "Shasta" out again. We spent some time with her and ended up buying her, then we found out she was on her last leg there. She was "too big" for everyone else who was interested. Not for us!!! Unfortunately, we have no pics... I didn't have my phone or camera w/ me...Murphy's law. She has to be spayed first, so my wonderful husband is driving another 3 hours on thursday to pic her up and then back another 3 hours.... then we will have pics.

Yea! for you and Yea! for your husband! That's fantastic that life got in your way and pointed you in to a whole new direction! "Shasta" is one lucky girl to have found a new forever family of her very own! Congrats to all of you and I can't wait to see the pictures!!!

Congrats! Fate is a crazy thing sometimes... but it looks like it worked out wonderfully! I can't wait to see pictures of your new girl!
