Hi..I have three Newfies and one suffers from dry skin. Vet said to add omega3..will fish oil caps work? I take them and they have omega3...vet said it would be okay but wanted some newfoundland owners (or other's) advice first. :-\

Yep - that would work.  I use those for my gang.  Also could be the food also - maybe a wheat allergy.

My female Newfie has perfect fur but we can pet her and she acts like she is always itchy. No hot spots on her and her skin looks okay..may be a little dry at times..any ideas?
