MY GUS IS HOME!!! IM AT WORK AND GOT A CALL ON MY CELL SO I CALLED IT BACK. THE GUY SAID HE READS METERS FOR OUR ELECTRIC COMPANY AND SAW THIS DOG THEN SAW MY FLIER AND CALLED!! I LEFT FOR MUNCH EARLY AND WENT TO THE HOUSE HE TOLD ME AND IT WAS HIM!! MY GUS!! HE IS VERY SKINNY AND LIMPING ON ONE LEG. HE ALSO HAS CUTS AND SCARS ALL OVER THE PLACE SO THERES NO TELLING WHAT HAPPENED TO HIM, BUT HE IS HOME!!!!! I HAD TO COME BACK TO WORK SO I GAVE HIM A BATH, FILLED HIS FOOD BOWL TO THE TOP AND GAVE HIM PLENTY OF TREATS. OH MY GOSH YOU GUYS, I HAVE NEVER BEEN THIS HAPPY IN MY ENTIRE LIFE. I CALLED THE GUY BACK AMD TOLD HIM HOW GRATEFUL I WAS. I AM ELATED!!!! ;D ;D ;D :D :D :D

OMG OMG!! This is the BESTEST news EVER!!! I'm soooo happy for you!! Hopefully his limping isn't too serious and he can get back to his old silly self in no time! YAY!!! ;D

I KNOW!! THE LIMPING ISNT TOO BAD, HE DIDNT REACT AT ALL TO ME TOUCHING IT ORANYTHING BUT IM GONNA TAKE HIM TO THE VET TOMORROW TO MAKE SURE. HES BEEN GONE 12 DAYS, SO THERES NO TELLING WHAT HAPPENED TO HIM. IM SO HAPPY!!!!!!!!!!MY POOR BABY, HES BEEN OUT THERE IN ALL OF THIS ICE AND SNOW!

OMG - I knew as soon as I saw the subject of this post that it was about Gus....OMG - I am soooooo happy for you and Gus... seriously I have tears welling as I type this! This is the BEST news... and we (BPO) sure needed some good news around here today! Oh I just cant believe Gus is home.... I am doing a Gus-is-home-happy-dance right now! Please give him lots of hugs from his Auntie Rachel!

THAT IS AWESOME AWESOME NEWS ~ word about the food give him small amounts acouple times a day instead of filling his bowl right up, you don't know for sure how long he has gone without, it'll be hard on his tummy. I am sooo Happy for you 3 ;D

Thanks guys, I couldnt wait to tell you all!! I will never know what he has gone thru the last 12 days, but he is home safe. My twin sister works for a vet so she told me to feed him in small amounts. I let him eat while I was still there and Ill feed him again when I get home. I just cant believe it. I didnt think I was ever going to see him again. He was LITERALLY a block from where I live!! So close!

His name Gusgus is actually from the little mouse on Cinderella! Glad you noticed! I am totally jumping out of my skin right now!! Its only 3:30 and I still have 4 hours of work before I can be with my baby! I just cant tell you all how happy I am and how much I appreciate you all. You guys dont know me and you dont knwo Gus, but you really care and shared my sadness and worry and now my elation!! Thank you all again! I will of course give you regular updates on how hes doing and let you know what the vet says tomorrow too.

Im sure he is just as happy to be home as I am to have him there. I will definetley need to post more pics of him. I have some, and I have some on a disposable camera from a month or so ago I just need to get them developed. He takes really good pics cause he always has that smile on his face. I might take one of him tonight so I have a reminder for life to NEVER let him off the leash again. He never needed one for the last 2 years. I dont know what happened that night. All I know, is that God answered alot of prayers and gave me back my sweet boy...and yes..Thank God for meter readers!!

Oh this is the BEST news - I am sitting at my mother-in-laws with a houseful of people (because my father-in-law passed away) and this made me SO HAPPY I can't even tell you.
Gus I couldn't be happier and Please stay put, your mommy was so worried, and upset - your in the best place ever stay there

Hey everyone, Gus is doing great! He slept all day yesterdaya nd all night! I took him to the vet and she said hes fine. She said whatever happened to his leg must have been the first day or two b/c hes limping but there doesnt seem to be any fractures or anything. She gave me some antibiotics for all his cuts and scrapes and said to give him lots of rest and loving. NO PROBLEM!!

That is fantastic news!!! So glad our little adventurer got a clean bill of health! Gus is officially healthy, and safe and back home where he belongs...with his mom! Now bring on the pics! ;D

I am so pleased to see that Gus is home and in good health! I cannot imagine being without Delly for 12 days, not knowing where he is or what happened to him. :'( I'm all teary-eyed with joy for you and Gus!

You guys are so great! Yes the smile on my face hasnt left I promise you that!! He slept with me last night, right next to me. It was really cute, he made sure he had at least one paw on me at all times. He just wanted to touch me to make sure I was there. I cry when I think of what hes been thru, but I cant imagine how much longer he wouldve lasted out there. He was already so thin and beat up, it couldnt have been long. Nobody understands like you guys do, I know. Even the vet couldnt beleive how upbeat he was for all the cuts and the miping and everything. I told her hes just as happy to be home as I am to have him and that tail is on a permenant wag!!
