Lucian went to the vet today for his next set of boosters. He fell asleep on the table for a few minutes until he got his vaccine. Boy, did that wake him up. Anyways, the monster baby is up to 22 lbs. His vet said he looks amazing and can't wait to see him back at 12 weeks! Photos coming soon...

Talk about a rude awakening. You better get those pictures quick cause it sounds like he wont be a tiny baby much longer. I think I speak for most of us here on BPO when I say too that we really love to see that precious mug of his....

We'll be there on the 17th-21st. Actually, I'll be judging a *Rat* show in Wheaton, but we'll be coming into the city so I can visit my old haunts (eat at the Weiner circle) and take him to oh...what is that good supply store on Clark?? Grrr...

i am in love with that little stinker! And boy oh boy. how he's grown. and not even 9 weeks. wow, hes almost as big as Jigsaw :o
I want to smother him in smoochies. Have a great trip in may :)

AHHHHH I LOVE HIM! Ok I live CLOSE to weiners circle (walking distance) and close to 4 LEGS (walking distance)!!!!! We are SOOOOO MEETING UP! (I hope I don't sound stalker-ie) hahahha!

He is so adorable! I wish that I could meet him, too but we're just too darn far. Julie, if you get to meet him, please give him lots of extra kisses for all of the rest of us in his fan club. :-* :-* Please keep the pics coming, but maybe with sunglasses ('cause of the flash). ;) ;D

Well we're back having seen the vet for boosters yesterday. Drumroll please? The minimonster weighed in at 34 lbs at 12.5 weeks! He is not in any way a round puppy - he has great muscle mass already (pretty typical of raw fed dogs), but is just going to be a BIG boy!

Wow he is getting big indeed! That's near what my female Pyr weighs at 4.5 mos! It's hard to tell how big he is from the pics, but he definitely looks solid and heavy haha. Glad to hear he's doing well!

He sure is a cutie!! I know how you must feel about the "monster" growth, as Bear was very similar in weight:
9 weeks - 22.5lbs
11 weeks - 29.3lbs
13 weeks - 38.7lbs
16 weeks - 46.7lbs
He'll be 18 weeks this weekend, I can only assume he's over the 50lb mark now. :o
My vet said he should start to slow his weight gain down around 26 weeks. But if he keeps up this growth rate, I figure he'll be 70lbs at 6 mos. Good gawd!!! :o :o

those eyes get me every time. And he looks like a real boy on his back like that with his little paw at his side and his tongue out. My god that in one adorable puppy

We're still settling in from our big roadtrip, but Lucian had his moment on the scale today! He turns 14 weeks today (5/26) and is weighing in at.... 41.9 lbs :o Where did my 11 lb mini monster go?
I promise a huge picture vomit soon ;)

WOW!! Phelan was about 14lbs at 14 weeks, Lucian has him well beat!! I'm ready for the pics :-*

Lucian is so adorable. How big is the breed standard when full grown? Zander weighed in at 45 lbs at 16 weeks he is supposed to be between 110 and 130 lbs full grown.

Wow he is going to be a big boy. I kept a weight chart for Lola and she was 44 pounds at 14.5 weeks. So he's on par with her. :o

Well the AKC breed standard (they are FS (Foundation Stock)just states that males should be over 110 lbs. I have seen a range between 110 and 160 or so in the males I've seen(Eli was about 135). Lucian is going to be on the larger end of things, we're guessing...but it's all a toss up at this point! We don't care as long as he's healthy and happy!

Well, Lucian was a big hit at the vet as always yesterday! The tech is a friend of mine and made sarcastic comments about how "He's so fearful and unsocialized" and "Dan, it's obvious you don't take him ANYWHERE" as he puttered around behind the counter, greeting everyone and everything (including hissing cats) with a wagging tail and a grinning "smile".
He got a good look over and a ton of praise on his development, though Justin (his vet) still can't believe how big he is (or how big he's going to be!)- he weighed in at 47 lbs yesterday and looks fit and strong!

Way to go Lucian! He's gaining it FAST! I haven't kept a log of my pups weights, I should have to look back on.
Glad he's healthy and happy!
