What Brand of dog food you feed your big dogs?
-
nurture heavenly harvest holistic formula
-
Canidae All Life Stages- it doesn't have much grain, but when they are a bit older I'd like to get them on a grain free food.
-
No brand- mine are raw fed. However I do use The Honest Kitchen products when I travel.
-
Mine were on Natural Balance Premium Adult for a long time and then I switched them to Innova EVO. I really like the EVO but I also mix in Merrick wet food with the dry.
-
Innova Large breed Puppy
-
We've been feeding Koby California Natural and he LOVES it!
-
We are now feeding Cirra raw and still learning. She gets a variety - mostly raw Bravo Lamb Blend, raw Steve's Turducken or Turkey and "real" meat with some bones. Also she gets a litte organ meat, canned salmon and a ground local chicken product with some egg and vegetables. We have been checking out the farmer's markets for local organic or "natural" meats. It seems that lamb and turkey are very seasonal so will check in to those when available. Before we started raw we were feeding Evo.

Innova sounds like its a great dog food .. Do you get it at the vet or were do you buy it at. Zeus was on Purina Puppy chow when we got him so the first bag we bought was that I know switched him over to Iams Puppy. But it sounds like Innova is a great food

You can go to their web site (http://www.naturapet.com/) and click on the "where to buy" link to find stores near you. I get it at an independently owned pet supply store near me. For a puppy, you would want Innova Adult or Innova Large Breed Puppy formula, not Innova Evo.
thank you holly goin to cheack and see if it is sold any where near me

Innova large breed puppy but doing the slow switch to Orijen large breed puppy. Anyone feeding Orijen? Thoughts?
-
My dogs eat Precise or Precise Plus. My cats eat Innova Evo.

i feed max and chevy science diet sensetive stomach, as it is the ONLY thing ive found that doesnt give max the poops. i've read what people have posted, about science diet. i checked that website naturapet.com. there is a store an hour from where i live that sells innova. does any one think it would be good to give innova a try? i know there's healthier foods out there than SDss. but max's tummy is so sensetive. SD sensetive stomach is the only thing he's handled well. i cant even give him a hot dog with out him getting an upset stomach.....co mments???
-
my husband said why change it if it's working. but i'd like to anyway. you think his tummy would handle it well?
-

My Thorn seems so much like Max. He to has a sensitive stomach...I am in the process of switching him to Evo. He seems fine with it. He is a tall boy, but he only weighs about 115 pounds. The vet says he isn't to thin, but It is a fight to keep him at that weight. I kid my hubby that they are built alike (my husband is 6'4 and about 175 pounds),

your thorn looks like a big cuddle bug! yes i do see a marked resemblance between the 2. they could be related. do you have a peddigree for thorn?
-
No, He has no papers. I got him in Tennessee. Apparently when the family went to buy a puppy, there daughter got bitten by the mother dog. The breeder gave them their pup free but with out the papers. So they let their dog have a litter with a ACK male. Thorn was in that litter, so I got to see mom etc. I had no intention of breeding so papers didn't matter to me.

I'm feeding Orijen large breed puppy to Bubba and Lola. I did a cold turkey switch from Innova adult. Bubba has serious sensitive tummy issues but he's doing awesome on this stuff. No more gas or loose poop!
Orijen is selling like mad here. They had what they thought was a 5 month supply that sold in 3 weeks. LOL

i have the boy's papers but have yet to send them in :P it's not like im going to do anything with them. but their breeder emailed me coppies of their peddigrees, i bet there's a fiew people on the board who's dog's heritage lines cross some where back there. it's a neat thought.
