Yesterday marked one year to the day that I drove an hour and twenty minutes one way to a horrible city shelter that was about to dispose of two malnourished, abused Great Danes. I loaded up the two in the car with out crates and headed back home stopping at both McDonalds and Sonic to buy bags of plain junior burgers to feed them since they were so hungry. So here they are, the pics were taken yesterday. They are happy and well fed and well adjusted for the most part. Annie still has some major issues, but she is really over coming a lot of her issues and her panic attacks are not so bad any more. The husband did grumble a remark about how well I handled the rehoming of the two, but we let it drop.

Happy one year anniversary!!!
I propose a toast to many many more anniversarys!! And as for the hubby, maybe he'd feel better if you got him a chew toy as an anniversary present too? ;) ;D
