: One fear over come..
: cynsheis November 02, 2007, 11:18:56 PM
Auntie Cyn took me for my first long walk, and when I say long
I mean for an HOUR!(2 miles)
She had to pick her two legged girl up from school.

Well I am a bit fraid of sprinklers ya see and there they were...The SPRINKLERS from h*ll..We had to pass by, no choice! The two legged kid was depending on us.

Ok, so I weight about 85 pounds right now,
and well Auntie has nerve damage in her hands so this is going to be tricky

Breathe deep, what did Cesar teach us?

Thats right Cyn your a calm cool confident pack leader!

I bucked and twirled and raised up on both feet. Practically choked my self to passing out.

Auntie did not give up, we got through it somehow with me acting a fool the whole time.

Then she made me do it 4 more times, but now I am not afraid! I can do it NO problem!

Auntie and Cesar did it!

Whats the next challenge

BRING IT ON

KD is right, sprinklers are evil.  Zita says so too.  Did the icky water actually touch brave KD?  The next obstacle is a different set of sprinklers.

One part of water training I feel the need to focus on is that period when sprinkler systems first start.  The sound of the air rushing through ahead of the water has flipped out more dogs on me than the actual water.

Just think, after all your hard work, you will be able to have KD play in your sprinkler next year with your human kid.
