Hello everyone!
We're new to BPO - Paige referred me over here(I adopted one of the Pyr pups that she saved), and this is a GREAT website! Being a new Pyr mommy, some of the information on this site has been so helpful. I just wanted to say hello and introduce myself, and share some pictures of our baby Beau. (We kind of go overboard with pictures, hope no one minds! I only put a few on for now, though...)
He's currently in day care when I'm at work, at a most wonderful place in Dallas. They are amazing with how much they work with the dogs there, and being as overprotective as I am that's saying something.
Every day has been a new adventure with him, and we've only been together now for about 2 weeks. One of the first nights I had him...I didn't realize that he snored. After hearing this very strange...very LOUD... noise come out of my little puppy, I panicked. My mother was with me (thank goodness!), and she had to calm me down becuase I thought he needed to be rushed to the vets. When I woke him up, he just looked at me like "Please let me go back to sleep Mom!".
I think that's why he now sleeps with his head on my neck and an arm thrown over my chest - to make sure I won't wake him up again. ;D
He's just the sweetest baby, so full of kisses. We have a few episodes of random fear, I'm not quite sure where those are coming from. We're working with a trainer and hoping that the people socialization helps.

I'm Alex, mom to one spoiled rotten Pyr Naja, and one Also spoiled rotten Cairn Terrier/Toy Poodle mis named Moo! And please, we love lots of pictures, so keep em coming!

Welcome to BPO!! We're so excited that we get to see one of Paige's rescue pups grow up!!! Beau is such a cutie!! This is an awesome site and whatever advice or info you can't get from Paige, you'll get from one of the other members here.
I'm Stephanie, mom to 13 month old Sierra the Newf. The rest of my zoo is listed in my signature.

Welcome!! You'll love it here. It's a great source of information, as well as a great place to go when you need to rant, rave---you name it. Someone is always here to listen! ;D
I can't wait to see more pics of your baby boy, Beau. It's sort of a requirement here to post lots of pics. (Ok, maybe not a requirement... but it sure is appreciated ;))
Oh, by the way, I'm Samantha. I have an 8 month old Great Pyrenees named Miles.

Ally!!! I am so glad you figured out the picture posting and gosh is he as cute as ever. I have had some of the most wonderful experiences with these pups including meeting some wonderful people who have made them thier own babies.
I am sure that when Dawn and Andy get back from vacation that you will heard from them. Corbyn also snores and Leslie up in New Hampshire has Willow.
Dawn and Andy have Petye and Corbyn. It is starting to look like the last little boy will be staying in the Dallas area and of course we have the Piglet.

Welcome to BPO! So glad that you found this site. It's addicting! I'm Jennifer and I adopted a rescue Pyr named Jenny this past October and am head over heels in love with her and the Pyr breed--such amazing dogs. I also have a Golden Retriever/Sheltie mix named Tipper, who is a ball of energy.
Jenny is a BIG TIME snorer, too. It's kinda shocking what noises can come out of such beautiful dogs, I can only imagine how shocking it must have been to come out of a little adorable puppy! :o
Beau is just precious and I'm so glad that we'll be able to watch him thrive and grow with you.

Hey Ally! Beau is a cutie! I am Lori and I live in the Mckinney area too! Paige and I get together all the time so I am looking forward to meeting Beau in person! I have a small zoo also so dont ever hesitate to ask questions...He re you will find tons of good advice and support and there are a ton of Pyr parents on here too! Welcome!

Oops...of course after I posted the pictures, realized I already posted one of them. So, here's a few more...A couple are at the Doggie Zen Den where he gets to play with a bunch of new friends. It's wonderful that by the end of the day he is just so happy and so tired. :)

My Mr. Cuddle Buttons comes via Paige, too! He's is a PRY mix but so adorable and growing SO fast!

Hey Ally! I hear Mr Beau is a graduate! My daughter works at Banfield and saw you guys the day of graduation and said he was gorgeous. He is one handsome boy! Hope to see you guys soon and maybe we can talk this time! Just an FYI...I am a Petsitter too so if you ever need a babysitter just give me a yell!
