OMG what am I thinking bringing home TWO GOLDEN PUPPIES?!?!
I went today and spent 8 hours playing, working, talking and learning about all of her dogs and spending lots of couch time with Dallas.
Then I got to meet Cisco The Kidd, the 5 month old she had held back. He wasn't really coming out of his shell so she decided he wasn't going to enjoy being shown, so put him back up as a pet for adoption.
After 2 hours of playing with Cisco... so beautiful and gentle!! I decided to go ahead and sign the contracts and everything for him, then she said "Oh, and you have GOT to meet his little sister, Annie Oakly (western theme litter)"
She brings out this tiny little girl. She is SO small. She told me it was the smallest girl she had ever produced and had been waiting to see if she would fill out more, but no go. She is a beautiful girl, great structure, just a mini! and SUCH a personality!!!
At the end of the day I was carrying Cisco out and I told her "Now promise me you will find a good home for Annie.... because she is one special girl. I can tell you right now, she is going to be something amazing."
And she laughed and says "Oh, I already did!" and she pointed in my backseat and there was Annie!!!!!!!
So after another hour of making sure I could handle both puppies, she gave me Annie as well.
Whiskey loves them BOTH. He will not leave them alone- and i have a huge puddle of golden fur.

OMIGOSH!!!! You have just done what most of us could only dream of doing! I'm so excited for you! Seriously...th ere is just no messing with fate! I'm loving your little Golden pack...they remind me so much of younger Champs!!!

Yes, we are keeping the names :) I love them both, and actually Annie was a name I had been saving for if I ever got a girl, and I have always loved the name Cisco, so it works out great. Plus, I think all three of them have kind of a western, country cowboy feel to their names, even whiskey :) I thought about liqour names, but three dogs with liqour names would definitely make me look like a lush!!! LOL

Awwww, those pics are adorable! Wait 'til my hubby sees your Golden pack, he's going to be so envious. We sure love our Daisy, I'm sure that you'll have so much fun with your three! Congrats!

That is so funny :D ;D I figured once you went to go see Cisco it was a done deal, but coming home with one more, what a wonderful surprise for Whisky. Now he has a whole family of his own. You'll have to take lots of pictures with the 3 being different sizes. It is too cute together. My little Jack Russel from the Humane Society is named Annie, after Little Orphan Annie, so of course I like the name. :D Congratulation s, what fun you will have with them.
