Phoebe had a grooming yesterday and she looks like she lost about 20lbs. This being my first spring with a pure Pyr. I have to ask is it normal for them to lose that much of their undercoat? She looks naked!!!

lol, she looks gorgeous!! I take my Akita to petsmart to be groomed and there are two pyr's that go there as well and the same thing happened to the male. he looked like a white walrus going in and came out looking like Adonis, sleek and handsome!! the female looked a little depuffed but not near as good as the male. the groomer said something about him have a thicker undercoat and the female was shedding hers at a different rate than the male did.

A really good way to tell is to post some pics... ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) Okay, sorry that's just me wanting to see some pics of Phoebe. She's such a pretty girl!! :D :D

She looks beautiful. I'm sure with the heat she feels better. but i'm sure it's a big change to see.
