Before the weather gets too hot I thought it would be interesting to see a few remnants of winter. Who has the best snow face? I submit my Sophie. Any others?

NOPE! :D Sophie wins "Best Snow Bear" in my view. ;)

Sorry No snow here! But love all of these snow babies! :-*

Lots of snow here in Maine this winter...but all that snow barely stuck to our berners puppy fur...this is all he got:
-
We had the opposite problem with the newf pups. We couldn't keep the snow off of them. 1/2 hour play = 45 minutes snowball removal. Each. I love all the pics and they are all adorable with or without snow.

I have my 13 year old shiba girl with a snow face, this was during our last snow fall, in April, over 2 days we got as much snow as we had all winter ::)

I love all the snow faces.
Here ours....

Here's a game I can play. We definately got snow here this winter and Clifford loves it.
-
hahaha In the second pic I can't find clifford's face!
-
Puck looks a bit rabid. I think overall snow dog has to go to Clifford. I'd like to show you a shot of Chili our Chihuahua in the snow but he won't even walk on grass. Too icky for his delicate feet.

These are from a couple years ago, Chloe is gone now. Most of her snow is between her toes. For just that reason we usually put 'boots' on her but we were taking Christmas card pictures and left them at home. She's wearing them in the second picture, taken on another day. Raemi had been making snow angels, hence the snowy ears. Clifford's pictures are GREAT!! Love ALL the snow pups!

Last time we had snow, Roxie went into spaz mode.

How did Chloe tolerate the snow boots and where did you find them that size? The ice balls that build up in our dogs paws is terrible. It's worse for Syrus for some reason. It gets to the point where he can't walk until I clear them out. I read somewhere to spray Pam cooking spray on and between their toes. It worked great for no ice build up. That's because we never got out into the snow, they were too busy licking the spray off their paws! Butter flavor, yum!

OMG that makes me cold just looking at them.

Chloe's boots were made by http://www.muttluks.com/
They make sizes large enough for just about any Big Paw. She was such a sweetheart she didn't mind anything we wanted to make her wear. Actually she would get excited when I got them out 'cause she knew they meant we were going 'out' yayyy! Now, with the two smooth coats, we don't ever get snowtoes problems. So, the boots are tucked away for the (maybe) next rough coat.

Thanks, I will definitely check out that site. ;D

Once you figure out what size you will need check for them on e-bay. They are a bit cheaper there.
