My Aunt had to go away for 4 days so I got to watch her new Basset girl. Her name is Daisy (Dukes of Hazzard Daisy.. LOL) She's 8 weeks old and super tiny.. maybe 3 pounds. She was the runt of the litter.
Bubba and Lola got along with her really well. I was a little iffy at first since Lola was just coming out of heat and well.. she can be really moody during heat. But my fears disappeared when Lola cuddled with her and they went to sleep. ;) Bubba was also extra gentle expecially when she was underfoot. I was scared he was going to step on her since he's generally quite an ox. :D
The size difference though was just hilarious.
Here's a couple pics. First of the 3 of them and second of Daisy cuddled up next to Lola sleeping.
Hard to believe that once upon a time Lola was very dog aggressive even with puppies. She's came a loooong way since. I have no worries now if in the future we ever decide to add to the 4 legged family.

Awwww, those pics are just precious. It looked like Lola & Daisy were snuggled up like they were nursing. So sweet! If I ever have a smaller dog I have my eye on Bassets, the big sad eyes and floppy ears get to me, too.

Oh my gosh! Those pics are absolutely positively adorable. It's soooo cool that Lola used to be dog aggressive and now she's cuddling with a little puppy. I bet that makes you feel great.
