I heard from my friend Ann last night...some of you might remember, she's the same one I wrote about who had to put down her beloved Chow about 6 months ago. Her other dog, Ellie, died last night. Ellie was a sweet old American bulldog, about 11 years old. I'm still not sure what happened, but Ann said they ate dinner and Ellie was fine, being herself, begging for a piece of pizza. Then Ann went upstairs to lay down because she had a headache. About an hour later, her brother woke her up sobbing and told her Ellie was gone. Everyone at her house is taking it really hard, they all loved her so much.
Ann's brother said she was foaming at the mouth and she couldn't get comfortable and then she lay down, let out a big sigh snd that was it. Poor baby.
We'll miss you, sweet girl.
