Last Sunday we 4 of us went to Port Perry for this event. It was a rainy day, not a lot of people showed up, but we had a good time there.
The first thing we saw was the Dock Diving held by Ontario DockDogs. Most of the dogs were quite eager to jump into the water, but some dogs were reluctant to get wet.

Great shots.
I went to a mutt show that had dock dogs. Looked like alot of fun but yeah there were a number that balked there as well. Can't seem to find my photos anywhere...... .... ???
You got some great action shots there. I had looked at the Canon camera (not sure if its the same one) but opted for the larger viewscreen of the Sony.

The Canon 300D I am using is a SLR(Single Lens Reflex) which has interchangeabl e lens. Usually with this kind of camera you have to look through the viewfinder to take the shots. It's a pretty old camera(2005), and have very small LCD, but even the latest model that has a big LCD, you have to look through the tiny viewfinder most of the time. Some of the advanages of SLR are interchangeabl e lens and very fast shutter time, very good for action shots.
