: Introducing a 9 mo old Newfie to cats......anyone done? Success?

I'm waiting on the arrival of my soon to be puppy, but in the mean time, I'm exploring the option of introducing a 9 mo. male Newfie into the household (I'm still getting the puppy!) where I have cats. Puppy intro won't concern me, but a 9 mo. "puppy" is a tad big and cumbersome, and I wondered how concerned I should be about the cats and if this is a good fit or if I should just wait for the puppy.....  any advice?

Good to hear......... makes me a bit nervous. Cats are "set in their ways" so to speak. :)
