Our adorable Diesel!

He's 4 months old now. We got him a month ago. Turns out he was actually born on our wedding aniversary. Neat-o, eh?

He's the wet guy lying in stinky seaweed in the pic above  ::)

Diesel likes: little dogs, peanut butter, visits to grandpa's, the kitchen floor, the banjo and little kids.

Diesel doesn't like: floors being sweeped, mopped or vacuumed,  eye booger removal, play pens, drums and garbage trucks.

I'm Diesel's personal servant, Melanie. He has two servants, the other is my husband Tom.  :)

Welcome aboard!!!  I'm Susan, mother to Rasputin an almost 3 year old Great Pyr.  Its nice to have another big paw in the area, im just across the boarder in Seattle.  There are lots of Newfs running around here, i know you will just love it!!!

Always good to have another Newfie here. Sounds like Diesel is doing a good job of training you already. They certainly do like to be wet and muddy, but look so cute doing it.

Welcome Diesel! Aren't we all... servants to our dogs I mean? It's so hard to resist those big fluffy noggins, and those puppy dog eyes (which I warn you, they don't outgrow).

We have a Newf as well, a nearly 6-year-old girl, Rosie.

Diesel truely is a dirty boy... yet i can't resist bringing him to the beach so who's to blame really...   ;D

I learned an important lesson yesterday: it is really difficult to walk a big newfy puppy down a busy street in downtown Vancouver while trying to eat a very cheesy half melted poutine. Utter chaos!
