CHRISTMAS!!!!! I cant believe how little time that is.
I am excited and cant wait to be able to put up my tree!!!!
I put mine up on Thanksgiving night, it's a family tradition from my childhood that my great grandparents started.
Every year we buy a new ornament for each family member and we get to hang the new one first that night.
Kinda corny but our tradition.
When do you put up your tree and what traditions do your families practice??
Also, this is Gunner's first xmas and I think that anything that resembles a ball will have to be put up high.

Sorry guys, I just gotta get as much of the holiday as I can get. ;D Im no where NEAR ready gift wise but im ready to go with baking and decorating...t hat is the fun part for me, NOT the shopping. That part bites big ones.

When my kids were little they always wanted to open a present on Christmas Eve. We would have a little something in mind that would be fun to open and then they all opened a box that had new pajamas. The rest of the gifts waited until Christmas morning. Two years ago most of them had their own plans for Christmas Eve and I never really found PJs I liked so I skipped them that year. A couple days after Christmas one of the girls, and even my son, said they didn't realize how much they counted on those new PJs. And they are 37, 34, 31, and 27!!!

No tree or any decorating for me this year. Going on vacation. Muhahahahahaha

I do understand, just can't get remotely that organized. I hope there is lots budgeted for Egg Nog, while you sit and laugh at the rest of us in our "Christmas panic"

Rule #1 in my world, no Christmas until AFTER Halloween. Right now Walgreens has Halloween on one side of the isle and Christmas on the other. *sigh* Gives me major burnout every year . . .

Well does have a list count??? I have that but that's it. Just not overly in the mood yet. This is the first year my son won't be home for Christmas. He is in the Air Force. Maybe the coming snow will help!

Those have got to be some really special memories for the kids. :) It will be sad when mine stop believing.

I must admit I too like Jenn have a spreadsheet. And yes it is color coded. Black is the idea, which turns to red when I actually buy it. No budget though.
I usually have a few things put in the gift closet by now but not yet this year.
