There was a lady in her middle years
Whose life was now changing gears.
The nights were too long,
The days moved along
Slowly, but filling with fears.

Each of us chooses the road we will ride
With a vision of who's by our side
If you find a small hole
In your heart and your soul
You learn how to roll with the tide

On a day that I didn't even see
A big fluff ball of fur came to me
He has stolen my heart
Given my life a new start
And has set my old grumpy soul free.
