Sorry haven't been around for a while. Hope all are well.
Ollie is now 3 (BMD). I have discovered a lump near to his rib cage left hand side under the skin about the size of half a tennis ball. He is well at the moment eating and full of beans when getting ready for his morning walk. He did have sickness 2 weeks ago but the vet said to starve him for 24 hours and see how he went before taking him in he stresses at the vets. He recovered well and by Sunday was back to his normal self. He also has a small lump under the skin near to his left armpit.
He is off to see the vet Saturday but I was wondering if anyone had any ideas I know it is impossible to diagnose over the internet., but I am a little worried.

Could just be a lipoma- a fatty tumor that is absolutely benign

Could be but forgot to say it is hard when you touch it.
Would a fatty lump be hard to the touch ?
I lost a dog previous to Ollie lump appeared very quickly.

I am very concerned as I lost my previous dog very quickly once a lump appeared. It seemed the lump was not there one day and then a few days later it just appeared.

My basset had a fatty tumor, it would go up and down.Sometimes soft, sometimes hard. We could not remove it because she had a blood clotting disorder and surgery was out of the question. Fatty tumors are completely harmless. My vet aspirated hers with a needle and could tell by what he extracted that it was a harmless fatty tumor so we just left it. I am sure your vet can diagnosis it with the same simple unintrusive procedure. Dont' worry until you have cause to.
