Hello There,I live in n,y,and one day we where in Pet Shop,and all of a sudden Look What is it we thought it was a small Horse!! that is how Big they are Full Grown,Maggie Was a Small pup,she Got Scared,!!It is a Very Large Dog, That was in middle Town ,n,y, the guy told us the are from Canada They are only 300 that live in the u,s,!!!next i see them i will get pic for you,they are not as cute as my maggie!!they look a very nice dog!mary lee!!! ???

Was it recently that Caucasian puppies from Canada were in Pet Shop in Middletown NY? Is that the name of the store..."Pet Shop?". Where is it located? Thanks.

I meant to say "Are Caucasians the same breed as Caucasian Ovcharkas?" Not "Is this a picture of a Caucasian Ovcharka?'

Stacy - that looks like an Akita puppy. ;) I've looked at a few photos of Caucasian Ovcharka in the past and some of them decidedly have the look of a longcoated akita I used to know. I think it might be the colour more than anything though.
How old is the puppy?
