Ok What date was selected and where ??? Last I saw on the older thread was some time in March but not the location.
Winslow is dying to meet everyone!! ;D

It's March 12th at a place called K-9 Kamp in Abington, Mass. 12:30-1ish to start. Its close to RT 3 and 24 or 495 easy to find anyway. Titansmom found the place so ask her if you have any questions. I don't know what we want to do for food or anything so that's something else to decide.

I am confused. I thought that k9 kamp was a doggie daycare. So are you planning on just dropping our dogs off at the daycare on the same day ???

I think we're just going to meet there and use their park. At least that's what I got out of it.

K9 Kamp is a doggie daycare but we are going to use it as a dog park.
Because we were looking for a fenced in area so that we could let the pups play safely off lead I email the owner and asked if he would be interested in letting us use his place. John had me call him and then I went to check the place out. Its great. Its a very large fenced in area for everyone to romp and play people included.
As far as food goes I am not sure because there aren't any tables.
I was going to suggest people brought folding chairs.

John didn't say anything about a charge and I had asked him in the original email about one. I know his daycare rate is only 12.50 a day.
I am going to call him again and I will double check.

Sound great. Why don't we do a pot luck lunch. Maybe a few cold cut trays for sandwiches for the carnivores and some veggies and dip for the herbavores. I can probably dig up a long folding table to hold the stuff.

Potluck sounds good we can probably bring enough chairs for our group but space will of course be tight hmmm three people a newf and assorted items in a PT Cruiser this should be fun!!! We could do a pasta veggie salad and a couple of bottles of soda depending how much we can fit in the car.

how about this??? we make a list and each of us signs up to bring something??

Sorry everyone I havent been on much at all.
Looked like everyone has all the food covered if I missed something on the list let me know what I can bring.
I can't wait to see everyone. Titan is going to have a blast no matter what the weather I hope it warms up a little for all the people to enjoy as well.

it's the big day! i just looked at the forecast! it says scattered showers developing! but when it's a town so close to the cape you really can never tell! they always forecast weather up here and are WAY off! i call the cape it's own weather phenomenon! hehe! soo excited to see everybody! :)

I have to say I can't come. I don't know what triggered it, but Sanity has the runs insanely bad (Total liquid). You guys have a good time though!

Lets do this again!! I say aim for Cape Cod on Saturday the 20th of May before the crowds hit. Erin & Stacy (Fumble's keepers)what do you think is that a good time or is it already traffic city down there.

Sadie and I are in, she's being spayed the following week so it'll be good for her to get out since she'll have to be quiet the next week.

actually there hasn't been too much traffic! only on the holiday weekends... hmm... let me think.. where can we meet up! the beaches all ban dogs after the 15th.. i think it's earlier than it was last year.. but i'll do some research..

well... shawme-crowell state forest is open now from 8 am to 8 pm.. all it says is:

Dogs of all sizes are allowed. There are no additional pet fees. Dogs may not be left unattended, they must have current rabies certificate and shot records, be leashed, and cleaned up after. Dogs are allowed on all of the trails. The forest is open from 8am to 8pm daily. The camping and tent areas also allow dogs. There is a dog walk area at the campground. There are no electric or water hookups at the campground.

i'm trying to think of where else that's easy to meet up where there is a fenced in area. there is a dog park/pond right down the street from us with a fenced in area.. but i'm not sure if we're too low cape for ya'll. we're on the elbow, west dennis. the park is SUPER easy to get to, but it's at least 30 minutes on cape from the bridges. oh and the dennis beaches are open to dogs until memorial day! so we could always meet at the park for a little bit and then head over to the bay side or just meet over there.. i say the bay side because when tide goes out it's much nicer because you can walk FOREVER!  just let us know! :)

We're willing to come out onto the cape and if we go the 20th it'll be before Memorial Day. Kali would love to play on the beach. And maybe we could hit the dogpark for a bit of off leash play.

whelp! i just looked it up.. low tide on the 20th is right at noon.. so that means that an hour before and about an hour after the water will be nice and far out!
