: How am I supposed to argue?

Yesterday, Alyx was really sick.  Fever, sore throat, head stopped up, etc...  She slept all day long.  Today, the fever is gone, but she still has a sore throat and is stopped up.  I told her this morning when we got up that she is going to do some of her school work today. After breakfast, she went to the couch where she was camped out all day yesterday and laid down and covered up like "if I lay here really quiet, then maybe she'll forget that she told me I'm going to do some school stuff".  She got up and took her bath, got dressed and returned to her spot on the couch without a word.  How do I argue with THIS??? lol

I agree -- I think her cheeks look a little flushed.  She may need even longer on that sofa.

I read this and saw Farley's face in the avator...and I heard what would be his voice saying...you just can't.  That seems like it should be Farley's new motto...You just can't.

I haven't said the dreaded s-c-h-o-o-l word again. lol  I had no intention of making her work hard, but was going to let her do a few things.  Considering Dazy is still laying there with her playing nurse maid, and she's still glued to the couch...I guess that's where she's going to stay today. lol  I just don't have the heart to do otherwise! lol
