Is anyone located in the midwest from BPO going to the Dog-n-Jog in Kansas City, MO?! I am! They have a 2 mile walk, 1 mile walk, 1 mile run, and 2 mile run on June 11. Me and the girls are doing the 2 mile walk. Registration before June 1 is $25 and you get a free t-shirt! The money goes to the Humane Society of Greater Kansas City. To find out more info and times, check out their website at www.hsgkc.org. It'll be lots of fun, with vendors and booths after the walks and runs! Hope to see lots of big paws there!

Where and when are you moving? I'm only a couple hours from Kansas City. Maybe I can talk my hubby into taking a road trip. Sounds like a fun time!

We're moving to northeastern Oklahoma this summer. We aren't exactly sure when...we have to sell our house here and then (hopefully) buy one there. We're hoping for late June or early July. We'd be about 6 hours from Kansas City, but it would be worth it to hang out with some big dogs! :) It would be so fun if we could meet some BPOers! :)

Okay, Dog N Jog was 2 weekends ago and it was such a blast! Mom and I and the girls headed up to Kansas City on Saturday and dropped the girls off at a boarding place overnight and we went shopping while they were there! The next morning, we were up by 5:30 and off to go get the girls, then go to the dog n jog! Our 2 mile walk started at 8:20 and after that, we spent the morning going around to different booths gettting tons of free samples of everything and talking to lots of other dog lovers! We are definitely going back next year! After that, we stopped at Petsmart to buy some necessary dog food... 160 pounds of it to be exact! That will last us for 2 months! Anyway, then we went to a beautiful fenced in off leash dog park and the girls got to to soak in some water and had fun running around and then it was back home for us! It was so much fun! Wow! That looks like so much fun! There were lots of big paws too. How fun! I sure wish we could have made it. Maybe next year! :) Thanks for posting the photos!
