Thanks guys for all of the great advice.  I am going to have to try the stix can't hurt right.  As for the carrots mariah loves carrots.  As a matter of fact both nala and her love everything.  They have been known to eat lettuce, carrotts, green beans, celery, onions, pickles, tomatos, and olives.  Just about any kind of food you put in front of them they will chomp on.  I'll try the stix and the carrots.  I hate knowing that she has an upset tummy.   I have noticed that Nala, the dobe, can eat anything and not have an bad results if you know what I mean.   Again thanks I will keep you posted how the stix work

I have a question regarding dog bones, not the treats the hard bones.  Well everytime Mariah eats one she gets really bad poop and for a couple of days.  I hate not being able to give them a special treat every now and then.  Can anyone recommend something that might not be so rough on her tummy.

To be honest with you she reallly hasn't been letting more than usual steam. hehe.  If I ever make the toys I will definately let you know.  It is something to think about though.  Just about every toy that they say is indestructable my dogs sure do destroy it and fast.

Haven't been here in a while.   Been pretty busy with Nala and Mariah.  Seems like they are always trying to keep me on my toes, cleaning up stuffing from this toy or plastic from this toy.  Everytime I bring home a new toy it's gone within minutes.  Maybe I should make a toy that can outlast them both.   Well both girls are doing great.  Mariah has allergies which I just found out this summer, poor girl had itchy ears all the time.  Nala is as fiesty(no spelled right) as ever.  She is a Mama's girl and I have no problem with that.  She still isn't too sure of strangers though, but  I did find out that if a person comes around a lot she will start to trust them.  She has become a little fatty girl, and I have been a little worried about her weight lately.  Took her to the vet last weekend because she has this welt on her that is keeps growing.  Following up with the doc this saturday.  Anyways, she is now a chunky 66 lbs.  Doc doesn't want her to go over 75 lbs.  The way she is going I am affraid that might happen.  I have been putting green beans in her food to fill her up a little more but don't think it's working.  She eats twice a day and it seems like when Mariah wants to eat some food, she has to hurry up and finish ALL of the food before Mariah eats any.  I have had to resort to feeding them in different rooms so poor Mariah can eat.

There is a birthday coming up too.  Mariah will be 1 years old on November 10, I plan on getting a doggie birthday cake and taking it to my mom's so all 5 dogs can have some cake.

New pictures to come too hopefully.  ::)

I called a the Illinois doberman resucue and they gave me the number to lady who lives in my city.  She charged me $25 for a half hour and it would have been 50 for an hour.  She really knew what she was talking about.  I'm not so sure that petsmart knows all too much about it.  What I found out was that when a dog yawns that means that they are stressed.....I never knew that and I don't know many people that do.  She does obedience and agility training.  She has given me some really good pointers as to how to get Nala to go by people.  It's not the dog that you are training it's yourself.  You have to learn their "signals" as to when they have had enough.  It was really good.

Nala will be 5 months on the 17th of this month.  I sometimes want my little peanut back.  She was so tiny when I got her, I kind of miss it.  I used to be able to hold her in one arm.  Now, I can barely hold her for 5 minutes.

Doberman Discussions / Nala's Picture is finally here!!

Well, I finally got a picture of Nala on here for everyone to see here little butt.  I had her ears cropped and she is stubborn and chooses to flop them.  She can hold them up but is a little booger.  Nala had her first day at obedience class.  She did really good and I was proud of her.  It is going to take a while before she feels comfortable to go say hi to people.  I learned alot though, it was a good idea to take her.  Thanks to everyone who encouraged me, I appreciate it.
