I am really sorry to hear that about your Dad...
Just for you to feel a little bit better...remem ber all the good times you had with him and you will still have...
I lost my Dad when I was 9...so everytime you feel sad remember that you had him by your side all the time...for birthday parties, christmas, when you were looking for advice, when you graduated or you name the occasion...He was there for you..now it's a difficult time...Just pray for strengh and enjoy every single time you now have with him.
You will be on my prays...
I hope you feel better...

Thanks! I think it's good to know..that I should wait...Hopeful ly I will sign the divorce papers soon and once I have that done then I will go ahead and rescue one...that's what I was planning to do originally...
Unfortunately I cannot kick him..'cuase I might get in trouble!...but I believe in justice...(from God) and he will pay for the bad things he did to me, Sasha and Gordo! Thank you ALL for your support! L.

Rottweiler Discussions / Need advice- a new companion for Sasha!---

Hi!
It's been a long since I haven't posted anything or read bpo website...my life totally changed this year.
First I got separated and I am going thru a divorce. I do not feel bad becuase of that but I know Sasha felt bad for the first couple of months...now she is a little bit more happy about it.. Also we don't live in the house anymore becuase I have it for sale due to the divorce and we moved twice already but I am stable now...I'm renting a friend's house and Sasha has been more active and playful (of course...now she has pently of space to run and play..in a 1 acre land) BUT I know she misses Gordo..the male..My ex took both Sasha and Gordo for a couple of weeks just for the purpose of hurting me but after being separated, thanks God he gave me back Sasha...but Gordo is gone!  :'( I found out he put it to sleep! I couldn't believe it at first but now I know I married the devil...  >:(
Well, now in this new life I have just started (already many months ago)..just me and Sasha, I know she is still missing Gordo a lot...but I am afraid of having another dog again, not only because of the maintenance because I cannot spend too much money now, but also because I don't know how she's going to react since all my attention goes to her and she's been my angel, my friend, my support all this time...
Does anybody know which breed I should get? Do I get another rottie? or a smaller breed? Please, I need your advice and suggestions... Also..what's is the best way for me and her to approach the addition of another dog in the house? I'm open to suggestions! Thank you all!

All said previously is true. It's amazing how dogs perceive your mood, your temper and they react in the most unusual ways. If you are sad, they bring you a toy and they want to start playing with you until you forget everything, or they lick you face, neck, ears...(I love when Sasha licks my legs :P like saying..Mommy. .I'm here..and I love you..)and suddenly you renew your strengh and you have now energy to play with them for 2 hours! even though you know you have things to do...  :-\  They wait for you no matter how many hours you left them alone in the house, or they wag their tails if by mistake you stepped on their paws...Dogs are amazing!! they are the best thing I have (of course my husband keeps is still in the first place..is he  ;)?

Hi there!
Congratulation s for Lady's Bday! It's been a while since the last time I posted something. I know that Lady has more or less the same age as Sasha..(she turned 2 on July)
I hope Grace is ok and healthy and beautiful as always!
Did you give her a piece of cake? For Sasha's b.day I had to buy her a cake..she was so happy!

Rottweiler Discussions / Re: Mini Rott

Hi Everybody!
I've been dissapeared for a long time! So much work is driving me crazy....
Talking about Mini Rotties, I've replied many months ago to this post, but now I'm wondering if Sasha is actually a mini rott...She's about 23 inches tall and she used to weight about 75, but she is down to 70 and she stayed like that for many months..actual ly she's stayed like that after the 2nd period...Is that bad?..is it ok that I worry too much? or there's nothing to worry about it? I mean if it is a sign of something else?
I need your opinions..
Thanks!

I learned today that it doesn't matter who many times I try to wake up my husband from his "short" nap on the weekends (which actually lasts for many many hours), I will never be able to wake him up (and the dogs too) early enough to get things done in the house ...  :-\
