FAQs about puppies / Re: Has anyone done it (2 puppies)?
« on: July 29, 2008, 04:42:09 am »
Yes I have 2 standard poodle pups  one is almost 8 months and tiny at 30 lbs and one is almost 5 months and over 35 lbs now.  Both have been good laid back dogs though and it helps they have eachother to wear each other out LOL.
I do have a huge sunroom for them to play in that I put my computer in so I can watch Casey.  He has been a nightmare to train but I think is almost getting it now if I watch for him to go to the door.  He won't bark but will run back and forth at it.  I can't leave him uncrated though or he will piddle while no one is watching.
It is a lot of work but so much more fun.  If you don't see your hours of school increasing anytime soon, or other life chages I say go for it.

FAQs about puppies / Re: Dumbest Post EVER!!!

OMG to funny but Mags had that same smiley face coller till last night when I found a pink one at walmart.
Then when at  the mall we went into that make a bear store and got her a pink straw hat and they gave me some bows that we actually put on the coller.
Hubby doesn't care cause it is my dog.  He didn't want her and acts tough.  Till he thinks nowone is looking then he loves on her but can't admit it to me.  Though when he noticed that dukes ( 165 lb mastiff x ) nails were painted purple he wasn't to happy.

Mixed Breed Pictures / Hi guys question about size if anyone can help
« on: April 02, 2006, 05:16:18 am »
OK Maggie is the dog we have no idea what breeds.  Terrier and something.
She is now just under 5 months old and is 32  lbs.  Woman from work said mother is a wire haired terrier cross but looks like benji from that old tv show light coloured and shaggie so I don't think so.
Lots of people think my maggie is Airdale x but woman says no airdales around her.  Here is a pic of her and her dogster link if that helps anyone  I am trying to figure out how big she will get.
I have  a masitff x already so not afraid of big dogs.

OMG  I would have flipped.  My hubby works nights and sometimes I imagine the weirdest things.  I have a english mastiff x and a hienz 57 we have no idea what puppy.  She is 5 months and 32 lbs. I try to blame all noices on them of course.  Duke ( mastiff ) is the strong silent type and never barks so when he does you get scared.

Glad you had your doggies there with you and if I were you Call the police anyways.  Could be a rash of breakins going on in your area.  Might give them some info on the guy.  ( like scared of dogs LOL).  Or they might find some **itty undies somewhere to get some evidence from He he he

Maggie is a terrier mix just under 5 months old and looks like she might fit into the big dog catagory to as she has huge feet.  Were hoping for a 40ish lber but OH OH she just keeps growing
