I guess they expect that with all the new technologies available a portable doggie john would have been created by now...consider ing all the limitations they are putting on a dogs natural instincts to go.

Blog Feedback & Discussion Board / Re: Working dogs not good family dogs

>:(Dear Big Paws:  I'm distressed with the description of Australian Shepherds you've put on your website.  Aussies ARE NOT usually good with children, nor are most herding-working dogs.  They may be okay with the children within a family, but you introduce strange children in the mix and you've got trouble.  Ask anyone in Australian Shepherd rescue.   Because these dogs are intelligent and do have to work, they are extremely sensitive to what is happening around them and will act on it -- if it happens to be a bunch of running, screaming children, they will do something about it and it won't be pretty.  Please for god's sake don't encourage people who have families and who can't spend the time and energy it takes to care for these dogs to get them.  They are not good family dogs. Labs, Golden Retrievers -- they're good family dogs.

What about English Bull Dogs?  What is your recommendation for this species?

Hi
Took a peek at the pictures...wow!  I didn't happen to see an English Bull Dog in there.  What are they considered to be, medium or large dogs.

Pardon my ignorance.  I don't know much about dogs.  That's why I'm here.

By the way, want kind of dog is in your avatar?

Just wanted you all to take a look at the latest blog post. We have so many great avatars pictures here I thought it would be cool to put a few together as a sampling of all of our goobers. So for effect, I did 101.

So many good looking studs (and girls : )

caine is very very very noticeable a pb, so people simply shy away.  but, we have had people pull kids away from us at the sight of him.  regardless of the fact he LOVESSSSSSSSSS kids.  we don't even get a chance.
Hi
Randee here...I'm not really commenting on your post.  It's the video attached to you post that taught me something about dogs.

Never in my life would I ever have imagined seeing a dog that size run away from something so small.  All this time, I thought, with dogs, size was all the more reason to fear.

Thanks for the laugh and enlightenment.
