I am so sorry.  What a lovely story of loyalty and the love that dogs can give and share.  Tragic, and sad... but very touching.  {{{ hugs to you and your family }}}  :'(

My name is Kelly.  Lets see.. I have been married 12 1/2 years.  Have 5 children.  3 dogs [2 labs and an OEM] and 3 cats.  I am a juvenille intake and assessment worker at night, do some dog training on the side, and stay home during the day to run my kids' and farmer husbands many errands.  ::) ;)

Sully is my mastiff.  I got him from Steadfast Mastiiffs in Indiana.  WONDERFUL people!!!!!  He is in training to become my replacement for my volunteer therapy dog.  My lab, who is almost 5 years, does it now, but she just isnt' crazy about it as it doesn't involve throwing tennis balls or frisbees and running at break neck speeds.  ;D

Sully is a very slow growing boy.  Currently I am trying to get some more weight on him.  He is so active... it is hard.  At 16 months he is only 140 lbs. and 30 1/2 inches high.  His dad was 265 lbs. and his mom was 180... so he will most likely grow some more.  But if not.... hey I can live with it... he already takes up too much room since he insists on stretching out in the middle of any room he is in!  ::) :D

Is she grounded?  Sounds like normal puppy stuff, but if you don't get a handle on it and know how you want to handle it now when she behaves this way... things will just get worse as she gets bigger.  ;)

Hi, Sully and I just joined.  He is a 16 month old mastiff 'baby'  ;).  He is pretty special.  I got him
so that we could do some therapy visting together.  I have a lab girl that is currently my visiting partner.  Sully and I are still working on it.  He is not one of the supposed  :D low energy mastiffs.  He is extrememly smart though... so that is also part of my problem.  ::) 8)

I hope you find a great home for her.  I just had to rehome an australian shepherd I had for 3 years.  She had been snapping at my kids for a year or so.... and so although there was no bite, I thought it best that she find a home w/o small children living in it.  I know it is SO hard! {{{ }}}

Have you contacted any rescues, alot of them will do courtesy listings which is how I got my Aussie such a great new home!

Hello.  This place looks like fun!

Sully is a 16 month Old English Mastiff.  He and I  ;) are excited to find more big dog lovers out there.  Well, besides the ones in this family.   ;D

Looking forward to 'meeting' all of you.
