Mixed Breed Pictures / Mowgli got a truck

Mowglie and I got a remote controlled truck for Christmas.  He loves killing the thing.  It doesn't stand a chance against the Mowg.  It's hillarious to watch and good exercise for him :)  Wish I had a picture of what the thing looks like now, it is rough, he has chewed it up big-time.

Meet & Greet BPOers / A fun event for our local dog club

South Alabama Dog Owner's Group participated with a booth at a local "Pets in the Park" event.  It was an absolute blast!  We recieve a lot of good responses from people on the idea of a dog park for our area.  Met many wonderful pooches and their owners.  Overall we all had a lot of fun and some tired dogs at the end of the day.

I think I got some pretty good pictures from the event also:

Meet & Greet BPOers / SADOG's first official event

South Alabama Dog Owner's Group officialy attended our first event today at an adjacent city's dog park.  It wasn't the most successful thing in the world for us, as most of the people were from the city the event was in,and not our area,  but it was a good learning experience and a lot of fun.  I'm pooped!

Collars, crates, & other cool things / Looking for an inexpensive vest.

I am looking for an inexpensive dog vest, maybe like a service vest, or something similar, or maybe even a t-shirt made for a dog would look fine.  I want to have our Local Dog owners group and the website embroidered on it, so I can totally use Bava to advertise :)

Anyone have any idea on a good place to get something like that?  There is a person at work who does embroidery, so that isn't a problem.

Pit Bull Discussions & Pictures / Why does the news media report more on attacks by certain breeds?

Wheather you love or hate any one of the breeds considered a 'dangerous breed', you have to admit they make the news more than other breeds.  In the past it has been the Doberman Pincher, the German Shephard, the Rottweiler, and now it is the Pit Bull. 
We all realize the news media tend to blow things out of proportion, and misrepresent the issues, so you really have to take some of the things being reported on with a grain of salt sometimes.

Why are the bad actions of pit bulls making the headlines with the media?  (Understand I am NOT saying the breed is bad, I am asking why the media insist on reporting so heavily on it)

Specific Website Information / Image Sizes - How to Easily Make them smaller (XP Users)

I have seen some HUGE images on here, because there doesn't appear to be an upload limit.  Do yourself and BPO a favor and resize them to something reasonable before uploading them.

For XP (prob works w/ 2000 also) users:
Here is a really nifty and quick utility from Microsoft that enables you to resize one or many image files with a right-click.  Just choose Image Resize and select the size you want them to be.  It's quick and simple.

If you have XP, you want this utility! I love how easy & quick it is to use.

Some of us from BPO met at the Pensacola dog park again, for a romping good time.  We had a blast and our pups played hard... this is the after effect (Some tired and very well behaved pups)
