American Mastiff Discussions & Pictures / Good Mastiff Info Board
« on: April 27, 2006, 10:45:07 pm »
Hello, all!

I'm rather careful about going to some Mastiff boards due to the feelings that some owners have about American Mastiffs.  That being said, there are a couple that I am more than willing to offer up to everyone.

Combined with the great info on Big Paws, these two really help fill in a lot of the questions I have.

www.mastiffonl ine.com

This one is an English Mastiff site, primarily, but the community is very open and welcoming.  It is by far the most friendly board that I've found so far for ALL kinds of Mastiffs.

This is a fairly new site created by members of the Yahoo American Mastiff group.  C'mon by and say hi!

Hope these help!

American Mastiff Discussions & Pictures / New Puppy -- Tinkerbell

Just wanted to introduce our new hors...err...p up!  Here she is in all her glory!  The one, the only (thank goodness...my house might not survive two), Tinkerbell!

I had this book recommended to me by a coworker.  The idea of "throwing things" at my dog originally seemed rather strange, but after seeing his dogs in action, it seems to have worked well.  Has anyone else read this book?

Let me mention that the author doesn't recommend throwing rocks, sticks, etc.  Nothing heavy or abusive.  I'm not saying that I back his methods, but it seems to be interesting.  Would like to hear stories if anyone has em.  This just seems...strang e.

Old English Mastiff Discussions / Suppliment List?
« on: December 04, 2005, 06:28:46 pm »
Hello all!

I'm getting a mastiff in a few weeks and am trying to get the whole food plan down.  One of the areas that I was wondering about was the addition of suppliments to the bagged food.  Does anyone have a few of them that are favorites or definitely needed?

Thanks!

Chris
