Food Discussion & Information / Anyone feed Raw Instinct?
« on: March 14, 2006, 07:47:13 pm »
Hi,
We hvae been feeding Roxy Innova Evo ever since she was diagnosed with lymphoma in June. We love the food! It has agreed with Roxy but now that her liver is sort of "messed up" from chemo she is turning up her nose at it. I wanted to stay grain free since cancer tends to thrive on grains and carbs so we just bought a bag of Natures Variety Prairie Raw Insticnt. The food is fairly new, cane out in the last few months but I thougt I would see if anyone else is using it and if so how they liked it.
Thanks,
Kim

Inner Strength

If you can start the day without caffeine,

! If you c an get going without pep pills,

If you can always be cheerful, ignoring aches and pains,

If you can resist complaining and boring people with your troubles,

If you can eat the same food every  day and be grateful for it,

If you can understand when your loved ones are too busy to give you any time,

If you can take criticism and blame without resentment

If you can ignore a friend's limited education and never correct him,

If you can resist treating a rich friend better than! a poor friend,

If you can conquer tension without medical help,

If you can relax without liquor,

If you can sleep without the aid of drugs,

...Then You Are Probably  The Family Dog!

Introduce Yourself to the Forum / New to the forum
« on: March 01, 2006, 10:15:21 pm »
Hello all
I am new to the board here and just thought I would introduce myself. My name is Kim and I share my home with my husband, 3 skin kids a foster dog Ace that is never leaving (been here since July 2004) and our 6 year old English Mastiff Roxy. We adopted Roxy nearly 4 years ago from rescue and I have been involved in Mastiff Rescue ever since. I love it!! Unfortunately our girl Roxy was diagnosed with Lymphoma back in June so we are fighting the fight of our lives right now for her. So far we are winning the battle and paws crossed it stays that way.
Looks like a great Forum youa ll have here so I am lookign forward to getting to know all of the other big dog lovers out there.
Take Care,
Kim
