Anything Non-Dog Related / Ralston village Canada

Hi all.. I have a quick question ..not with my dog (oh thats later ). We might be posted to Ralston Canada is there anyone on bpo thats already there or near abouts to piont out the pro's + con's in living there. I've never lived outside of Scotland and im a bit worried about moving so far away.

 We've looked up loads on the net but first hand info is always better .. If anyone can help it would make me feel loads better. Oh we're also taking our dog ( we wont go without him) so I'll be needing advise on air travel and stuff like that.

Behavior, Housebreaking, Obedience / growling

Hi I need advise with a wee prob thats only just started. My 5 month male mal/husky has started to growl and snap when his bowl is lifted. Now we have always made a point of making him wait till we eat(out of a similar bowl)first then he can take his food. Then during his feed we lift his bowl as we've been told to do this. But only in the last week or so he's started to growl and even a wee snap.  Can anyone help ?

Hi all

I have a male 14wk old mal. Now he's a wee gem and I love him to bits.. Only I have one tiny prob . He wont stop nipping mt knees. He only does this when he wants attention or when he's had a telling off. I've tried to squeel and say no !! and turn my back but the more I squeel the more he does it.  Has anyone got any ideas ? my inside thighs are getting it bigtime and they are starting to look like a Dalmations   due to the wee brusies left by my loving lad.

Hi,

 Im new here and wanted to say hello to all Malamute lovers. My boy Chinook is 14 weeks and keeping us all very busy. I will no doubt have lots of questions  ;D  and once I figure out this site I will post a pic of our wee boy.
