The other day my Sister felt that Remy had an outie belly button!! We thought it was funny and interesting. So what does your dog have, innie or outie?

« on: September 19, 2007, 05:18:54 pm »
Here are some pictures from our Road Trip, were at Pancake Bay in between Sault Ste. Marie and Thunder Bay. I can't believe how much fun Remy had, in combination of getting out of the car and having water to play with he was in heaven!!!!!

-edit-

If you're having trouble seeing the photos, sorry, but I have to run, I'll fix it later!

FAQs about puppies / Question About Remy's 'Manhood'
« on: August 31, 2007, 10:53:50 pm »
I was wondering if it was normal for male dogs to have erections, pretty much all the time, before they're neutered; And will that go away after his operation. Remy basically has a constant erection, not always a huge one, but it just sort of peaks out. It's mostly when he's excited that it happens, like when we're playing, or when we're using our 'happy voice'. I was just curious whether this happens to all male dogs.

Meet & Greet BPOers / Cross Country Road Trip!
« on: August 15, 2007, 05:51:16 pm »
So in about 2 weeks, My Mom, Remy and I, are going out to BC!!! I'll get to see my baby Cousin, Very exciting! Well most of you know of Remy's, shall we say, minor loathing of the car. So a 4-5 day drive will be interesting! haha Anyway my whole point is that, at the moment I'm not sure whether we're going through Canada, or the States.

Either or, it would be great if along the way I can post to see if I'm driving through any one's town, and perhaps we can meet up! Give Remy a break, have a little play! Sort of like a mini Meet and Greet! I might not be able to get Internet, so in that case, I'll post out route before hand, either way it would be cool to meet some BPO'ers!

Sorry if this rambled, my brain isn't quite functioning this morning! :D

Collars, crates, & other cool things / Collars...
« on: July 05, 2007, 11:00:48 pm »
I know some people have trouble finding collars for their big paws, so I wanted to let you know about an online store my Father told me about that has really nice things, he gave me two collars (He knows the woman who makes them) and they're so nice!!!! Great fabric, nice lining, really well made! My camera is recharging, but if you want some pictures I shall get them to you :) I'm particularly fond of the Martingale style. I thought I'd share this great find, hope you guys like them!

Anything Non-Dog Related / Posting Pictures: How To.
« on: June 30, 2007, 10:50:02 pm »
I've posted pictures before, as attachments, but I was wondering how you posted them in the body of the text. I've attempted to copy/paste but that doesn't  work because apparently my computer doesn't think I've copied anything, or it hates me (I'm convinced it's the latter) Any help would be great, thanks!

Collars, crates, & other cool things / Favourite Toys
« on: June 29, 2007, 10:53:30 pm »
I thought it would be a neat idea to see what are big paw's favourite toys are. I know Remy has some odd and amusing choices which include shadows, empty plastic bottles (especially PC apple juice bottles lol) and his outside fav is definitely his froggie pool!! ;D I guess just saying them isn't all that odd, but watching him is hilarious!

Anything Non-Dog Related / Not so fluffy pictures
« on: June 28, 2007, 03:40:25 am »
Here is my lizard, Birch, and my old snake, Kaa. Kaa is no longer with me, but don't be sad, he was just rehomed, actually back to his original home, funnily enough! I miss him, he's all the way out in BC. Birch is super chill, she (I think, I've never really been able to tell) just likes to bask and eat nasturtium flowers.

Anything Non-Dog Related / Tummy Trouble (NDR)
« on: June 26, 2007, 02:49:16 am »
I was wondering if anyone had any home remedies for nausea. I'm on some horrid medication right now that upsets my stomach and was looking for and natural ways to tame the beast. I have two stomach coating meds to help, but they only do so much, which basically is nothing! lol I have five more weeks of this, so any suggestions would help, even if it's doing a head stand I'll try! Seriously! ;) :D

German Shepherd Pictures / Puppy Pictures!
« on: June 20, 2007, 04:39:09 am »
I was looking through some pictures, and I found some of the day Remy came home. Unusual circumstances lead us to take him home at 7 weeks, so he's all tiny, fluffy and cute! The last one is more recent, as you can tell from his size!

German Shepherd Discussions / The dreaded Car...
« on: June 17, 2007, 10:48:27 pm »
I have no idea what to do about Remy's hatred of the car. He dreads going near it, and when on the back seat, he drools profusely, which I know is a stress response. That's the only time he drools, and I swear he was a newf. Does anyone have any suggestions about how I can help Remy with his fear? I've thought about going and sitting in the car with him, just sitting not moving, but I don't know how much that would help. I also make a little den for him with a towel, which helps somewhat. I make sure to have a lot of towel on the seat. It wouldn't be so bad if I didn't have so much driving to do, but I have to go a long way for his training. Any suggestions would be much appreciated!! Thanks!

Anything Non-Dog Related / NDR - MRI
« on: June 13, 2007, 09:59:39 pm »
I was wondering if anybody here has had a full body MRI? Don't worry nothing serious, they just want to check out some joints in my back (I have JRA). I've had partial, but never a full body, and I was wondering if it's really claustrophobic, because that's what I've heard. Just in case it is, I've already ticked the "Yes I need a sedative" box :D

German Shepherd Pictures / Splish splash I was taking a bath...
« on: June 11, 2007, 09:04:23 pm »
Well not really a bath, but almost! Remy is infatuated with the hose! He also loves the bird bath, I have yet to get it on film but he stands up and splahes his two front paws in the water!

Big Dogs with Jobs / Service Dog Vests
« on: June 05, 2007, 07:57:51 am »
I was wondering if anyone knew of any Service Dog vest suppliers. Or just plain vest suppliers. I'm having a h*ll of a time finding any in Canada. I know it's a long shot but I thought I'd ask. Thanks!
