Medical Conditions & Diseases / Giardia AND puppy vaginits

Hi,
I have a great dane puppy (15 weeks today) that has Giardia, either for the 2nd time, or it never went away with 1st round of treatment.  She is fairly lethargic and not gaining weight properly, and just simply "not herself."  Yes, she has been to the vet's twice now.  On top of that, she has puppy vaginitis. Poor little girl.  Gosh, I could just cry that she is so miserable. (in addition to allergies...)

Has anyone else out there gone thru this with their big paw?
Suggestions?

Collars, crates, & other cool things / Dog Boots for snow

Hi,
I have a great dane puppy, and am trying to get her used to boots for going in the snow.  I just bought some cheaper ones for the moment, just to practice.  We would like to take her to the snow with us before long, tho, and need some boots to protect her feet. 

Is it possible to keep the boots on in snow? Anyone have any luck with this? If so, which kind of boots do you use?

Blog Feedback & Discussion Board / Anybody else out there help their dogs blog?

Hi,
Just curious if anybody else helps their dogs blog (keep a weblog)just for fun?  My pup started one "accidentally", and then it just kept going.  The breeder she came from requested that all puppy buyers keep a webpage with photo updates of the puppies so she could watch the progress. We had a free page with Yahoo, and then Yahoo decided to stop hosting.  Then we got a blog, since that's free anyhow.

Then somehow, as a joke to family, my pup (Behr) started "writing comments" to post, with mom's help of course, since she doesn't type well yet ;D  It just kind of grew from there.

SO, I was wondering if anyone else out there with some Big Paws in the home has a "dog blog" as well.  I thought it would be fun to start a collection of them to read maybe.

This is my first New Years and I'm loving it!  Hope everyone has a great day kicking back with their families.  As for me, I think I'll chase a bunch of leaves because it's windy outside, and then I'll run around my new house and play with all of my new toys.

I'm not only new on the board, I'm new to this world :) My name is Behr, (or the Behr Babe) and I'm almost 8 weeks old now.  I get to come home with my human mom and dad next week (right after Christmas).  I'm SO excited! I just wanted to join the discussion and talk with others who are danes and are on this board.

I even have my own blog already.  Stop by and visit anytime.

I won't have a photo of my all by myself until I move in to my new home next week, sorry.
