Zoey likes to suck off the butter and spit the rest out so I end up with soggy kernels all over the house on movie nights! ::)

Keep us posted on how Harley's lump is doing. I just now called my vet and he suggested putting some cortaid on Zoey's. He said it is not uncommon in short haired breeds and might take as long as 3-4 months to go away! OMG too long.

Hang in there. (I will too!)

Wow! we are going through the very same thing with Zoey right now. Hers is on the very edge of her ear. Our vet had it tested to confirm that it is a benign hystiocytoma. I think I'm more distressed about it than she is actually....  the scab fell off and it just seems to be getting bigger.

I think it's cute.  Very chic.   ;)  How does she like it?

Truthfully, I think we will only put it on for "special" occasions since she gets a sort of forlorn expression when she's wearing it.

My next knitting fashion victim will be Austin..... hmmmm what should I make  ;)

I knitted it over the long New Years Weekend. It took more time than I thought cuz the pattern was Chihuahua size and I had to do some serious scaling UP!!

The pup may be limping due to vertibrae/nerve damage.

Mixed Breed Discussion / Re: Bad trainer?? another question

I have been just sick about this all day, my pup was limping on his back leg this morning, and now he's limping on his front leg. Called my vet and she said to watch him for a day or so, if he isn't better to bring him in.
My question is, can I file charges against this so called trainer for animal abuse?? I live in Pennsylvania. If anyone knows if this is something I can do, please let me know. I want something done to this jerk..

Thank you
Aimee

I am horrified reading your thread and my heart goes out to you.  I would absolutely file charges. 1.) Write down exactly your experience, when, where it took place, how many other dog owners were there how you heard of this guy etc.  2.) Keep good records of you vet bills. You can get your vet to write up his comments. 3.) Make a video of your pup. 4.) look into getting some legal help. I know that there are some lawyers that will do some work for free. This "trainer" is a hazard. Definitely call the SPCA. Please keep us posted about your baby.

Well, here goes another Crede pee story...

Today, my husband was taking Crede out every 3-4 hours.  Everything was going well, he was doing everything outside, not inside...  So he decided to take a shower around 5pm (you know, with a 10-month old son, you have to do it when you can).  As soon as he got out of the shower and walked into the bedroom, he slipped in a big puddle of pee.  A BIG puddle.  And it wasn't there before he went into the shower.  Crede had just been out 1 hour and 15 minutes before this.
Maybe he got a little separation anxiety being alone while your hubby was showering? The sound of water running?  It's true that big dogs are babies longer. My female, Zoey took a long time to train. Have patience, you sound like you are doing all the right things.

While adding these owner reviews can you fix the Vizsla breed profile where it says they are used for herding :)

It should read more....
The Vizsla is a multi-purpose hunting dog used on both fur and feather.

I totaly agree with Vdog here. The Vizsla is known for being versatile at both hunting and at home.  So sweet that you used Austin's picture of the day we visited his Mom & Dad! I wish I could see the whole pic though, the Pedia page keeps kicking me off to re-register and wont let me on.

You Are A: Pony!

You were almost a: Bear Cub or a Duckling
You are least like a: Puppy or a Chipmunk

A pony!?? I was hoping to get to be a porcupine ;D
