Old English Mastiff Pictures / LibbyP comes over to play

LibbyP was kind enough to ask Kim to bring her over to play at our house today.  Lukka enjoyed meeting LibbyP,  but had more fun jumping ( :-[ ) up on Kim.

Unbelievable,  I just don't understand this whole dog fighting thing in the first place.  How can anyone possibly stand by and watch as two dogs savagly rip each other apart.  The thought of it just makes me sick to my stomach,  and I have a very high tolerance for what would turn the stomach of most(normal)people.
Slightly off topic for just one second.  When I first brought Lukka home at 10 weeks I was paraniod about walking her in the neighbourhood because I worried that someone might recognize her as a Caucasian Ovcharka and want to steal her and put her in a ring.  It sounds almost rediculous when I say that,  but the sad fact is that dog fighting is alive and well.
I read a dog fighting discussion on the web and it was based in Michigan,  Caucasians against Pitbulls were the main entries.  To say the very least I was astounded to hear that this actually does happen.  I am so appalled with this guy (Will Duncan).

I took Lukka to the dog park ( one of our rare visits there ) and she disappeared in a wooded area.  Came out with fecal matter spread from head to toe,  a very runny type of diarrhea.  Must have been fox because it was far too vile to belong to a dog.  She just thought she was the answer,  parading around like a beauty queen.  The car ride home was excruciating,  trying to hold her so she didn't lean against the seat and drive at the same time.  I was gagging the entire drive.  Horrific.  She has never rolled or stepped in poo again.
